Sally became a part of the Abeles and Hoffman team in 1998. As a senior tax manager, she provides expert consulting and tax services to real estate companies, family partnerships and their owners. Sally is the firm’s go-to professional for questions regarding real estate and entity structuring and planning.
Prior to joining the firm, Sally served as a tax manager at Stone Carlie & Company for 15 years. She began her career in the accounting profession at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG).
The expertise Sally has developed over the past 38-plus years is evident in the high quality services she provides to her clients, even in the most challenging circumstances. Multiple times, she successfully represented clients during IRS examinations.
Sally was inspired to pursue a career in accounting by her father, who is also a CPA. She attributes her success to her parents. From her mom, Sally learned the importance of showing compassion and kindness towards others; she learned from her father that client relationships are the most meaningful part of having a career as a CPA.
Sally grew up in Peoria, Illinois and currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband. Together they have four children. Outside of tax season, Sally volunteers frequently at her children’s school. Sally’s hobbies include cooking, reading and traveling.
“My top priority is to remain focused on what clients really want: timely and quality service. This approach ensures client satisfaction and has allowed me to maintain and expand meaningful long-term professional relationships.”
