Greg joined the Abeles and Hoffman team in 2017. He currently serves as a manager in the firm’s Assurance Services Department. In this role, he is responsible for performing audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements; audits of retirement plans; and audits of statements of direct labor, fringe benefits, and general overhead. Additionally, he offers consultation on internal controls and general bookkeeping.

An experienced professional, Greg has worked with clients in a wide range of fields, including construction, manufacturing, agriculture, insurance, recreation, religious institutions, governments, financial services, and medical services. He also has experience working with benefit plans, HUD, and SOC1 engagements. Lastly, he has an extensive background working with non-profits and performing single audit engagements of all types.

Prior to entering the accounting field, Greg spent ten years in the United States Army as a paratrooper. His time in the army gave him the opportunity to travel all over the globe, including deployments to the Middle East, North Africa, Central America, Europe and the Caribbean.

These days, Greg lives in St. Louis City with his wife of 20 years, and their teenage daughter. Greg enjoys St. Louis for its great food, architecture, diversity, and the fine cultural institutions it has to offer. Greg enjoys his free time with his family and enjoys opportunities to pursue interests such as traveling and reading.
