Greg Diekhoff
 

Greg joined the Abeles and Hoffman team in 2017. He currently serves as a manager in the firm’s Assurance Services Department. He attended Illinois State University with a Master of Science in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Greg has been married to his wife Jackie for almost 20 years. Together, they have a beautiful 16-year-old daughter.

Fun Questions

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
Reprise the hobbies I had before career and family took all my waking hours, Things like riding motorcycles, and reading would be at the top of the list.

What fictional place would you most like to visit?
Jurassic Park. The safe one they promised.

What is a new skill that you would like to master?
Throw a baseball 100+ mph, preferably left-handed.

What do you wish you knew more about?
Something practical such as plumbing or electrical work. I have an old house so it would save me a fortune.

What’s the farthest you’ve ever been from home?
I have traveled all over and around the globe a couple of times with the Army and in my personal life. Farthest by distance would probably be the Middle East including Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and the Sinai Peninsula.

What question would you most like to know the answer to?
Does Tony Soprano live or die in the finale?

What is the most impressive thing you know how to do?
Rough terrain parachute jumping at night!

What is your favorite smell?
Rain or snow.

What was your first job?
U.S. Army Paratrooper for 10 years.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Super healing. The older I get the more I need it.
