Andrew Dorn joined Abeles and Hoffman P.C. in 2017 and serves as a Tax Supervisor. In his role, Andrew prepares and reviews a wide range of tax returns, including individual, entity, gift, and non-profit filings. He also supports clients in industries such as real estate, construction, and medical services, offering tax preparation and compliance assistance across a variety of complex areas. In addition to his client work, Andrew plays an active role in the firm’s intern program, contributing to recruiting, training, and mentoring future professionals.

Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an accounting emphasis from Southeast Missouri State University, graduating cum laude. During his time at SEMO, he was a member of Beta Alpha Psi, the accounting honors society, and received several scholarships, including the E.G. Greable Scholarship, the Martin Bender Roth Accounting Scholarship, and the William & Evelyn Volentz Scholarship. His strong technical skills, dedication to quality, and leadership within the firm make him a valuable member of the AHCPA team.

Andrew lives in Saint Charles, Missouri, with his wife, Laura. The couple has been together since 2006 and married since 2012. They enjoy raising their three children—Macy, Jack, and Archer—near their extended families. Much of their time is spent at youth sporting events, where Andrew also serves as a coach. As a family, they enjoy traveling and seeking outdoor adventures in places like Florida and Colorado.

What silly accomplishment are you most proud of? Finding a Junonia shell and being featured in the Sanibel/Captiva newspaper.
What is your favorite smell? Spearmint or fresh raspberries.
If you had a clock that would countdown to any one event of your choosing, what event would you want it to countdown to? My next vacation.
When was the last time you climbed a tree? 2008.
What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten? Foie gras in Paris.

If you could have any super power, what would it be? Telekinetic regeneration to heal people and keep my family in good health.
