Abeles and Hoffman, P.C. is pleased to announce Willie M. Gates, Jr. has joined its team of professionals.

Bringing five years of accounting experience working at international accounting firms with him, Gates joins the Abeles and Hoffman team as a senior tax accountant. He is responsible for preparation and review of tax returns for corporations and partnerships, as well as consulting on the firm’s complex tax projects.
Gates holds a Master of Science degree in taxation from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where he also earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. During his undergraduate studies, Gates made the Dean’s List multiple times. He is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants and the Southern Illinois University Alumni Association. Gates lives in East St. Louis, Illinois, with his wife, Andrea.
