Jacob Maret joined the Abeles & Hoffman team in 2017. As a Tax Associate, he provides clients with tax planning, bookkeeping services, tax return preparation, and review. Jacob is also a member of Abeles & Hoffman’s Trust Committee, specializing in estate, trust, and gift tax matters.
An alumnus of Saint Louis University, Jacob graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree in Economics and a master’s degree in accounting. Jacob, his wife, their daughter, and their chocolate lab live in Ballwin. They love getting to live so close to family and spending time outside with friends.

If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
I would pray more, spend more time having deep conversations with my family and friends, read all of the classics, and exercise more.
What fictional place would you most like to visit?
Mayberry, North Carolina. It seems like a great place to raise a family and enjoy the great outdoors.
What is a new skill that you would like to master?
Playing the piano.

My death because I think that it would help me make better use of the life I have left.

Last week to hang a wind chime.

I worked as a weight room attendant at a local community center.
