It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of our office manager, Antoinette (Toni) Poole. After 36 years of service at Abeles and Hoffman, P.C., Poole’s last day at the office is Monday, July 24.
“Toni became a part of all of our families throughout the years,” said Ron Abeles, founder and principal of Abeles and Hoffman, P.C. “I wish her all the best in her retirement and hope she enjoys her time doing the hobbies she loves.” Abeles originally hired Poole in 1981. To this day, Poole remembers her exact hire date – February 16, 1981.
Poole is a hard worker and has always had a willingness to jump into areas she was not experienced in. Her flexible work style allowed her to learn new things with great ease. Time and time again, Poole went above and beyond to achieve the firm’s goals and provide excellent service to all the firm’s clients. She always approached her job with eagerness and integrity that many admired.
A native of St. Louis, Poole grew up in The Hill neighborhood and graduated from Xavier High School. She appreciates the trust and support the firm gave her throughout her career. The employees at the firm became her second family over the years and she will greatly miss working with them. Poole considers herself lucky that she worked at a place she loved with people she cared about for such a long time.
Although we will all greatly miss Toni, she has worked hard all of her career and has earned the opportunity to enjoy more time with her family. Please join us in wishing Toni all the best in her retirement.
