What is one thing about you that makes you unique?
I really enjoy playing ultimate Frisbee whenever I can.  It is really fun and a great workout.

What do you enjoy most living in the St. Louis area?
I like the fact we live in a large city, but it still has a small town feel.  Everybody is connected to each other in some way.

Why did you choose to work at Abeles and Hoffman?
I chose Abeles and Hoffman because the firm provided me with the opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients.  I also have the ability to work in both the tax and accounting/audit arenas.

What are the greatest benefits of working for Abeles and Hoffman?
Working at Abeles and Hoffman gives me the ability to be challenged on a daily basis by the different types of clients we have.  I also love our work environment.  The partners offer an open door policy.  If I have a question or concern, I know I can talk to one of them and not feel intimated at all. Our team knows that the partners truly appreciate our hard work.  We have annual events throughout the year to allow us to socialize and have fun with everyone at the firm.  We have a post tax season dinner at Tony’s, a fall picnic and a holiday breakfast.

How have you saved the day for a client?
We took on a client whose bookkeeping was a mess.  I went out to the client’s office to assist them in organizing their information.  Over a period of few months, we were able to fix their bookkeeping system and reduce their accounting fees.
