Steve Gustafson, CPA, Partner at Abeles and Hoffman, P.C., was recently named a member of Saint Louis University’s (SLU) Accounting Advisory Board.

Gustafson began working at Abeles and Hoffman, P.C. in 1989.  As a principal, he is the lead audit partner in the firm. Gustafson provides audit, review and compilation services for the firm’s clients and also has expertise in tax planning, tax compliance and due diligence procedures in acquisition engagements. He assists clients in the distribution, real estate, service and manufacturing industries.  In addition to his client responsibilities, he is in charge of the firm’s accounting and finances, administrative needs, and recruiting and hiring of new employees.

 

Gustafson received his Masters of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. In addition, he is a graduate of the University of North Dakota where he received both his Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degrees. Gustafson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AIPCA), the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MSPCA), the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG), the University of North Dakota Alumni Association and the Golden Gate University Alumni Association, Born in Minot, North Dakota, Gustafson currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife, Ann. Together they have three grown sons.
